We have now heard that the Discovery centre is fully booked. However there remain pitches on the camp site
The Margam Discovery Centre has agreed to offer orienteers catered rooms at a competitive rate. This is an attractive modern field studies centre, sleeping up to 132, very conveniently located for four of the days - actually on the day 5 map! Note that this will not make you non-competitive as planning will avoid this part of the map.
Unfortunately rooms are now only available from Monday 25th July to Saturday 30th July.
Their prices for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast are as follows:
Sole Occupancy £45.00 (inc. VAT) per person, per night
Twin Occupancy £37.50 (inc. VAT) per person, per night
Up to 4 sharing £22.50 (inc. VAT) per person, per night
Family room discounts available (up to 20%).
Packed lunches can be prepared by the centre at a cost of £4.25 (inc. VAT) per person, if required.
Camping
They are also offering a small number of camping pitches, also from Monday 25th July to Saturday 30th July, specifically for orienteers at £10 per person, per night including breakfast.
Only a limited number of rooms/pitches so early booking advised.
