A 6 day Orienteering festival taking place between August 3rd -
9th 2008 around Tredegar in South Wales

Competition Information
6 day event with courses for
- A & B courses for M/W 10, 12, 14, 16
- Long and short courses for M/W 18, 20, 21, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70
- M/W21V (Very short approximately 2/3 of the short course)
- M/W 75 and 80
- The short courses are approximately 2/3 the length of the long,
but of the same technical difficulty.
- Colour coded courses: White, Yellow, Orange and Light Green which may
be entered on the day or on-line in advance. There is no overall competition for colour coded courses.
- String Course. There will be a free string course each day with
badges for each competitor
Competition Areas
Terrain varies from the complex limestone areas to the intricate former mining
wasteland of Pwll Du on the World Heritage Site at Blaenafon. One day is mainly woodland.
