Dogs
You must tell us on your entry form if you intend to bring your dog. South Wales is sheep country, and landowners are naturally concerned about the presence of dogs on their areas. We have secured agreement that dogs will be permitted in most car parks and assembly areas, providing they are kept on a lead at all times. Please respect these restrictions and always clean up after your dog. On Days 2 and 3, Pwll Du and The Blorenge, dogs will not be permitted on some parking areas, which are on sports grounds. Anyone wishing to bring a dog on those days will be given special parking instructions, and must comply with these.
COMPETITION INFORMATION
The overall competition is based on a points system with the best 4 days to count. People who do not enter at least 4 days will not be included in the points system. The class winners of each day will receive our coveted Croeso Winners Badges, and there will be an overall prize giving ceremony in the Assembly area after the final competition.
Map Scales 1:15000 and 1:10000 for recommended BOF classes
Start Times
In the interests of fair competition each competitor will be given a full range of start times throughout the start period during the course of the week. Competitors in the same club will be given start times in the same start block unless they have requested special starts. If it is essential for you to have a particular start on any one day please indicate this on your entry form so you can be placed in the appropriate start block.
Competitors requiring start times at similar times to friends should indicate their wishes on each entry form and all forms must be returned at the same time in the same envelope, or submitted as a single entry on line. Every effort will be made to accommodate your wishes but please note that this cannot be guaranteed.

The programme will be posted in early July. If you are not at home in July please notify us so that your programme may be held for you at the Event Centre at Bryn Bach Country Park, Tredegar.
SPORT ident
CROESO 2008 will be using SPORTident. SI cards may be hired at a cost of £1 per person per day.
SOCIAL PROGRAMME
A warm welcome to Wales will be ensured by a full social programme. You can also take advantage of the Welsh policy of free entry for all to museums, this includes the underground tour of the Big Pit at the Welsh National Mining Museum at Blaenavon (days 2&3). For garden lovers we have arranged for special openings of private gardens which are opened under the National Gardens Scheme. These will be at gardens most convenient for each day’s event. This is new venture for Croeso and we would ask people who are likely to visit the gardens to indicate this on their entry form so we can give the garden owners some idea of numbers.
