Mynydd y Garn

Mynydd y Garn is a totally new area and is the furthest west that you will travel.

The terrain

The terrain is mostly upland limestonewith intricate areas and many sink holes. The area also has some small, deciduous woodland areas on the lower slopes.

Day 5 is close to the famous Ystradfellte waterfalls in the Neath Valley.

The Welsh Whiskey Centre is now opening for tours. Suggest you visit after your run!! And you thought it was only Scotland that had whiskey distilleries.
